ingredients

  1. 4 slices of sourdough bread
  2. 2 tomatoes (plump, juicy and fat)
  3. 2 knobs of garlic
  4. 2 tbs. of olive oil
  5. a pinch of salt (preferably sea salt)
  6. a few fresh grounds of black pepper 

TOOLS

  • a Knife
  • a Cutting Board
  • a clean kitchen towel
  • a grill, bbq, makeshift fire pit or toaster

steps (PREP. & ACTUAL COOKING)

  1. Wash tomatoes 
  2. Towel dry tomatoes 
  3. Cut each tomato into 4 wedges
  4. Undo skin of knobs of garlic
  5. Slice knobs of garlic into half
  6. Toast slices of bread
  7. Rub each slice of bread with half a knob of garlic
  8. Furthermore rub each tomato wedge into a slice of bread
  9. Make sure each slice of bread get this very red outlook
  10. Cut unused wedges of tomatoes into cubes
  11. Sprinkle each slice with a bit of oil
  12. Season well with salt & pepper
  13. Serve slices of bread with a some cubes of tomatoes on the side
