Lemon curd muesli yoghurt

This is the time of the year to buy quality Lemons. And make lemon curd. This super sweet lemon jam is so good with a bowl of muesli. The other day’s rain did not deter me to shop at the farmer’s market. To find an abundance of lemons, tomatoes and (wild) peaches at the fruit & veg stall. So I upped my stock in lemons. For a batch of fresh lemon curd. A homemade condiment that you could stock for a least a week in an airtight container.

This is a great recipe to execute on a slow Saturday morning. And to prep this super sweet jam of lemons you apply this technique. That is Au Bain Marie. To keep it simple; it’s a bowl you add in warming not boiling water. And in this bowl you melt delicate ingredients like egg yokes or chocolate. Now back to this breakfast dish. A bowl of yoghurt with muesli and chunks of apple is ideal. To cover with some stiff dollop of super sweet lemon curd.

steps (PREP. & ACTUAL COOKING)

  1. Make Lemon Curd
  2. Cut Apple into fine chunks
  3. Pour Yoghurt into bowl
  4. Add Lemon Curd, Muesli and Apple to bowl
