infusion ginger lemon

Freshly cut ginger root and a squeezed lemon is a classic mix. That I drink with a glass of boiling hot water. And I must say. This infusion can beat a good cup of morning brew.

  1. 1 lemon
  2. ginger root (you would need the size of a finger)
  3. 2 cups of water 
  4. optional: 1 tbs. of honey

TOOLS

  • a knife
  • a spoon
  • a cutting board
  • a mug
  • a saucepan, an electric kettle or Quooker
  • a clean kitchen towel
  • a lemon squeezer

steps (PREP. & ACTUAL COOKING)

  1. Wash lemon & ginger root
  2. Towel dry with kitchen towel
  3. Cut lemon in half
  4. Store the other half for the next day
  5. Squeeze juice
  6. And pour juice into mug
  7. Bring water to boil
  8. Add boiling water to mug
  9. Cut ginger root into long slices 
  10. Add slices to mug
  11. Slice a ring from squeezed lemon
  12. And cut ring into small cubes
  13. Add cubes to your mug
  14. Optional: add honey 
  15. Drink your infusion
