15 min. noodle bowl

My 15 min. noodle bowl is spicy. And sweet and soft. So this dish will give you comfort. No matter what weather conditions you are in. The combination of chillies, smoked chicken, shrimps, carrots and peanut butter will do

For this dish I used Japanse noodles. That you slowly cook in boiled water for 8 min. In case you do not have time or patience. Use a single portion of egg noodles. For the latter you would only need an electric kettle or quooker. To boil water. In which you soak egg noodles for a few minutes


  • 50 gr. of dried noodles
  • 100 gr. of slices of smoked chicken
  • 100 gr. of shrimps
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 small onions (red preferably)
  • 1/8 tsp. of chili flakes
  • 1 tsp. of bouillon stock powder or a cube  to make 1/2 litre of bouillon stock (chicken preferably)
  • 2 tsp. of peanut butter
  • Optional: 1/3 of fresh cayenne green pepper


  • a Knife
  • a spoon
  • a cheese slicer or potato slicer
  • a Cutting Board
  • a pan
  • a sieve or colander
  • a clean Kitch Towel
  • 3 bowls 


  1. Fill pan with 1/2 of water
  2. Turn on the heat
  3. Place pan on stove
  4. Bring water to boiling point
  5. Add shrimps
  6. Wait until water is boiling again
  7. Remove pan from the heat
  8. Use sieve or colander to get get shrimps out of  boiling water
  9. Place shrimps in bowl A
  10. Add cube or bouillon stock powder in bowl B
  11. Add peanut butter to bowl B
  12. Add chili flakes to bowl B
  13. Optional: Wash green cayenne pepper
  14. Cut 1/3 of cayenne pepper
  15. Slice in half (horizontal, like you slice a baguette)
  16. Remove seeds
  17. Slice & dice each half of cayenne pepper
  18. Add thin slices to bowl B
  19. Give bouillon, flakes, (cayenne pepper) and peanut butter a good stir
  20. Until you have this smooth semi-transparant sauce
  21. Fill pan with water (1 litre)
  22. Bring water to boiling point
  23. Use 1/2 litre to make bouillon (bowl B)
  24. Use other half to prepare noodles (check the instruction of the package on how to prepare)
  25. Wash and towel dry carrots
  26. Use slicer to strip carrots
  27. Only pick the clean strips of carrot 
  28. Add them to bowl A
  29. Slice and dice onions
  30. Add small chunks to bowl A
  31. Slice & dice smoked chicken 
  32. Add chunks of chicken to the bowl A
  33. Check whether your noodles are good to go
  34. If so, sieve noodles
  35. Add them to bowl B
  36. Here you are at a junction
    1. You toss all ingredients in bowl C
    2. Or you warm up the pan you used before, and toss all ingredients in this  pan
    3. Use a spoon to give everything a good stir
    4. When the bouillon is about to boil, you remove the pan from the heat
    5. And pour the lot in bowl C
